Very affordable room with all the necessities! Very comfortable bed and the room was spotless. Smart TV and kettle in room. Bathroom consisted of toilet, sink and shower. Great location 10 min bus ride from the east Midlands airport with bus stop right outside. Staff were fantastic, the property manager in particular was extremely friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

A perfect country pub both for locals and visitors. Well situated, being in the countryside but not far from major routes and East Midlands Airport. The staff were outstanding, both friendly and efficient. Over the three nights of our stay it was good to see the seamless teamwork that made us feel so very comfortable. The food - both breakfasts, snacks and dinners were all delicious, freshly cooked and not just the same old standards found elsewhere. We will be back on our next trip to see family in the area.

Staff are really accommodating and loved the touch of being shown to our room. We stayed in the “leather” room which was tastefully decorated. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure. Breakfast was amazing - definitely recommend the full English, the black pudding was delicious!

    I like how comfy the bed is and that it has an ensuite toilet and shower. For the price of it I was very satisfied as places this cheap don't usually come with an ensuite. The boy behind the bar was very lovely and showed me to my room straight away. I like how it offers free parking also.

    Great small hotel, will use again. Other guest remarks on showers are valid although I found a warn shower OK the temp is not controllable. I was upgraded on roon booked a single givem a double. Parking: I had no diffiuclty but it is limited, and not reservable as suggested by the booking webpage! I would be concerned if I was arriving lin the evening, as street parking may all that would be available!
