Beautiful location, quiet and relaxed Really Lovely house and garden. Lots of places to sit and relax. Very very comfortable bed! Angus the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Also a wonderful chef. We had wonderful food served to us and great selection of drinks.

The accommodation was immaculate and so homely! I've never been somewhere that is so well stocked. There were so many little extras provided that we weren't expecting. It was spacious and allowed us to gather as a family. Communication with the owner was excellent. Location was brilliant, tucked out of the way but within a short drive to amenities! Absolutely loved our stay.

The location is ideal for exploring the beaches and walks around the Solway firth. The room was very well appointed, clean, warm and tastefully decorated. It was a treat to be able to stay at a residence so much connected with the history of Scotland. I was welcomed in arrival by the very gracious hosts, enjoyed a very peaceful night and was served a first rate cooked breakfast in my room. I can thoroughly recommend Buittle Castle.
