The owners were brilliant and welcoming. The Doggie Manager was very professional and friendly. The food was better than most restaurant standards. Room was set up perfectly. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. They treat you like family.

Excellent and hearty breakfast if you like, or just a spot of coffee or tea, whatever you like. The breakfast service is something very special and unique, actually - prepared freshly and not just a slimy buffet or a bunch of breakfast rolls and boxes of corn flakes. Kudos to them for actually serving a hot breakfast.

If you want to spend some time in a luxurious English country house, this is the place. It is approached from a long gravel drive, and then the magnificent house itself becomes visible. Our accommodation (in the Stables) was spacious, comfortable and clean, while the breakfast (extra) was very good.

Georgina is a beautiful property situated in the well served historic village of Lavenham. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed - all the thoughtful little extras (much appreciated when I realised I had forgotten the toothpaste) put this home on par with a 5 star boutique hotel.
