It was quiet with secure parking, electric charge point for EV. Lots of walks from the front door. Kitchen had everything needed plus lots of nice glasses for every type of drink.

Hepworth and the surrounding Holme Valley are magnificent and so peaceful. School Cottage is in Hepworth village but we could easily walk to the village shop in Scholes ( 10 mins on foot at a leisurely pace ) or down to Holmfirth. The Butcher's Arms pub ( with restaurant ) was metres away. The cottage itself was light, spacious and modern and though simple, there was care in the details. I noticed and very much appreciated the utensils, cutlery and tableware - you don't always get that level of quality. A big thank you to the owners for making our stay so effortless and comfortable !

    The property is fantastic, the host is very helpful, we received the instructions in advance. The only thing is the host is not available to speak on call so if something is unclear, you have to chat with him or check instructions. The property is very nice, in a nice location, close to shops, supermarkets, petrol station, etc. Free street parking as well.

    This property is just under a mile outside of Penistone and is set in its own grounds with car parking. Penistone is just under a mile on foot. The hotel has a restaurant on site, which is where breakfast is served in a room with w view of the moorland. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient.
