    Cosy pub in a quiet village. Very friendly staff. Good beers and lagers and the food was excellent. Ample safe parking too. Bed very comfortable.

    Good location for exploring the Lake District with easy road access. Was warm and clean with everything we could need. Less than 5 minute walk to onsite private indoor pool, bar and restaurant. Enjoyed sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Gym too but we didn’t have time to check it out. Parking close by and parking outside to drop off luggage.
