This is an exceptional hotel in a quiet country village location. Everything about it is class. We felt welcomed and at home from the moment we walked in. Our room and the hotel’s attention to detail was faultless. The staff were excellent and attentive. Our dinner was top notch. Every place we stay in from now on will be measured against the White Horse.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Stables located in a beautiful peaceful rural area with all amenities not too far away. Alison welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The apartment had everything we needed and can thoroughly recommend it.

    The spotless and charming 16th-century bedroom, the comfortable bed and the excellent, generous breakfasts. The evening bells (not too loud!) of the ancient church of St Mary the Virgin, just across the road. The friendly and helpful reception. The ample free parking. The very reasonable rates.

    The room was amazing. Really large and had a separate seating area. The bed was extra comfortable and the location great. We needed a stop for the night, and with free parking, so this worked well for us. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

    Super pretty cottage, very special in style. Easy to find, free parking close to accommodation, pretty location, pub, cafe, butcher, Domino's and grocery store within a two minute walk. Owner was very helpful and kind and had collected a convenient information package of the area's services. Our whole family (incl. 2- and 6-year old kids) really loved the place.

    The Full English was excellent. Good quality produce served on time as requested. The Hotel was within easy reach for Goodwood Festival of Speed. Secure parking at no extra cost. Well appointed Bar with plenty of draught beers.
