This is the perfect country pub. It is stylish and clean and the food is excellent, but it is not in the slightest pretentious or ‘gastro’. We ate a delicious dinner, stayed in an extremely comfortable, well decorated and well maintained, family room and ate a hearty, gourmet standard, breakfast featuring local produce. The rate for the room and breakfast was so reasonable it seemed wrong not to be paying more. Best of all, the staff were unusually friendly, welcoming and good with our three, often boisterous, children. They even rang us ahead of our arrival to warn that there was a party being held in the pub the evening of our arrival and letting us know that it might be noisy (which it was not!). I could not recommend this hotel and restaurant more highly.

We loved the lodge so much it was cosy & comfortable. Lovely little touches like eggs, bread & milk left for us on arrival. Self check in was easy, the bath was lovely just a shame it was a cloudy evening. Perfect location, very peaceful & private. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again without question.

Brambles is set in a stunning peaceful spot overlooking neighbouring countryside and horses. The Shepherds hut is beautifully decorated and really thoughtfully furnished/equipped with everything you could possibly need. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Check in was easy and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Overall, we had such a relaxing, albeit brief, stay - our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer! We very much hope to return when back on the IOW next year and highly recommend staying at Brambles 😃

    Modern clean interior with everything you need. Parking space right outside the lodge. Nice fresh looking towels and bedding. The hot tub was well looked after.

    Having an allocated parking spot was a must, staff were polite and helpful. Security was good whenever there was concern for antisocial behaviour. We didn’t use the pool but was a great thing to have that we will use next time we stay.

    Quiet and tranquil. Designated parking areas rather than parking for each unit, keeps the cars away from the caravan so less traffic up close to the accommodation, more green space between.

    The park was in a good location with easy access to all of the Island, there was parking in front of the caravan which made it very convenient. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a very big veranda to sit on. Good sized lounge.

    Very nice quiet location. We chose this resort because it's located in middle of island, so it was very comfortable to visit any place of interest in max of 30 mins drive. Caravan comfortable with decking and parking space. Staff friendly and facilities were good.
