I had a fantastic stay at The Stromness Hotel. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff were warm and welcoming, especially Scott and Wendy, who were always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. They truly made me feel at home. The room was spotless and comfortable, with beautiful views of the harbor and surrounding landscape. Breakfast was excellent, and the location is ideal, just a short walk from the ferry terminal, local shops, and the Stromness Museum. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stromness!

Beautiful property with very new, clean, modern facilities. Breakfast was excellent with porridge included in the continental includes breakfast. Hosts really friendly and helpful .

What a brilliant place to stay whilst visiting the Orkneys. Our room was spacious and well decked out with everything you need for a stay. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Hot breakfast to order upstairs in the dining room made by the lovely Alice. Thank you so much for being so helpful and informative in our emails to you…. Very clean and cosy chalet with a nice view on the lake. Good communication with the host (messages) but we didn't meet her.

This is a really lovely house, lots of space, spotlessly clean, every convenience and parking. Laura is extremely helpful and responds immediately to any query. Couldn't recommend more highly.

From arrival we were met with a friendly lady on reception, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was very helpful, professional and made us feel welcome. The hotel in general was clean, tidy and had a homely feel. Myself and my partner had a great sleep, comfortable bed and a warm and clean room. We were just a few minutes walk away from everything that we needed. We didn't use the other facilities in the hotel but we definitely will if we return again in the future.
