Despite very warm weather, my room was cool and comfortable (a rarity in a seaside town where most properties won't have air con!), and the surrounding streets were quiet enough to leave windows open. I was unable to stay for breakfast owing to a very early start, but the in room tea/coffee facilities were great. Welcoming staff. The bathroom better than in most similar hotels - a large sink and shower with a lot of space, good water flow. We were lucky to get a free parking space, however, if you are not, there is a large car park nearby and the owners can sell you it for discounted £6 per day.
