The Tiny House is wonderful, clean and completely accessorized. Melanie is really friendly and helpful and she did much more than regular hosts, she gave us fresh oranges and helped us to rescue a baby swift. The shower outside is really a blessing in this heat. Remember to keep all your food and medicines in the fridge because it's a caravan so it can become really hot during the day when you are outside and you switch off the air conditioning. On the other side at night you can sleep well because the caravan cools down and you may need an extra t-shirt and the blanket. The garden is lovely and you have your own space and privacy. The bathroom door is missing, but Melanie explained that there used to be a door or a curtain but the guests were pushing them with too much strenght and she had to fix the wall. Remember it's still a tiny house so move around gently. It is better if you travel by car, but you can still move around by bus as well. Make sure you get all the timetables at the bus station in Chania. Take the bus from Chania to the airport and ask the driver to tell you when you are in Pithari. The Tiny house is 5 minutes walk from there. Ask Melanie which road to take from there. When you take the bus from Pithari to Chania make sure you make yourself visible at the bus stop and stretch your arm outside to stop the bus (Greek and Italian style) or the bus won't stop.

The hotel is even better than in the pictures. Everything was exceptional, from the daily fresh à la carte breakfast menu, gorgeous sunset views to the friendly and accommodating staff, you will not be disappointed. The location is great too, very quiet but with supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommended.

María is a very friendly ,kind and welcoming person. Make you feel at home. The apartments are confortable and with all what you need to enjoy your stay in Kalives. Since few years i stay there when i come to Crete. Nice atmosphere,beautifull enjoyable garden just steps from the beach, the sound of the sea, the calm área and short walk to centre of the town...short nice walk to many shops, minimarkets,bakery,butcher, pharmacy, tavernas, and anything you need...just in front there's a main supermarket which is very practical...great place!

We loved this place! I've been travelling since May,my son and Nephew met up with me at Villa Michalis for 4 days.Everything about this place screamed 5 stars! The staff,the location which is abit further out of Chania but we had a car so that was all good as it was closer to the airport, the cleanliness,the wonderfully maintained pool,attention to detail around the environs of house,The hosts were so friendly,I could go on...

    I have been to Crete last year and find out Marathi Beach and Psamathi. The place is really good for family trip. Near to Chania Center (by car - 20 min). There is free-parking spot for those staying at the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Thank you.

    Great apartment with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to Marathi each and therefore no need to take a car and pay for beach parking. Lovely view from the front porch. Check-in was seamless.

    Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment! Eleni waited for us with traditional raki and homemade cake ! She was very kind and helpful! The apartment is like 20 meters from the beach and the view is fantastic ! Down stairs there is also nice place that Eleni had decorated ,to chill 😎,drink some wine and relax! There is also private parking 🅿️ and in the apartments you can find anything that you need! We will definitely go again and we recommend it also to everyone! Hopefully, very soon again!!

    Big, clean , close to the sea , at a minute from the only but great restaurant, parking place , good communication with the owner, well equipped kitchen, clean water, clean beach. By car 20 minutes to Chania, 1,5 hours to Elafonissi.
