The hotel is like an island amidst the Pannonian plain, organically seeping into the surroundings. First impression counts, and they know that in this hotel. The herbal welcome tea with Slavonic honey and the exceptional receptionist won us over with their unfaked charm. In all positions, the staff adds value to the hotel. In an era when hotels are teeming with fake hospitality, Materra knows what genuine human touch means. The wellness centre covering 1500 square metres envelopes the entire first floor of the hotel. Even though we did not try the holistic massages or rituals, we were amazed by the design, especially the sauna part. You will understand what wholeness means in this hotel. Exceptional!

The apartment is keyless, clear, very cozy and well-designed with parking next to apartman. I would say that it was one of the best apartments in which I have ever been. The host thought on everything and prepared Coca-cola, milk and also vine for us, what I really appreciate. I hope that we will came there again but for more than just one night.

The room was reasonably clean and as described, with working air conditioning and a good bathroom. Wi-Fi worked well, check-in was easy, and private parking was available. The location is within walking distance of the center. The property also has cameras controlling the entrance, which adds a sense of security. We stayed for 7 nights in a 2 bed apartment at LAVilla as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We couldn’t have chosen a better apartment in Osijek for our first visit to the city. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish). Nothing was too much trouble. The location just excellent and within walking distance of town centre, shops, restaurants, river promenade, bars and pubs. Apartment is very well maintained, has proper security (electronic code entry), cctv, and all modern amenities. Very spacious and roomy. Well air conditioned too. Decor is modern and tastefully done. Beds are comfortable and bathroom has a rain shower. All in all, we loved the accommodation having looked at several properties as options prior to renting LAVilla. Owner is most courteous and helpful and my thanks to him for his kind hospitality. Housekeeping must also get a mention for keeping the flat neat and tidy although we managed mostly ourselves as well. Highly recommend this property.

    A nice place for a transit overnight stay. Clean, very friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pool, beautifully lit in the evening. The breakfast is tasty, there is a lot to choose from, but it is worth adding something hot and something sweet (e.g. croissants, cake) and more vegetables. Large parking lot, central location, about 6 minutes to the Anticathedral. I recommend.

    Breakfast, free parking space, 15 mins walk of city centre. There are private parking spaces in front of the entrance, free of charge and with cameras. The breakfast was served in a space at the ground level, much cleaner and new fitted. It had enough food and was good enough, with eggs, sausages, ham, sweets, juices and good coffee, made by the owner.
