Mario and team are fantastic and they make sure to arrange transport, trips etc. The location is perfect with relative closeness to multiple dive shops. The house reef and jetty are wonderful. High standard for the price. Talked to multiple people who explained their homestay as well as other guests here that been in other parts of Raja Ampat and it seems like the standard here is much better than in most other places.

We had a great time at Bruno raja ampat. We were warmly welcomed by Farrah and her family. Farrah prepared us very good food, with typical specialities. The home stay is just in front of the jetee of sauwandarek, on the beach. It’s great for snorkeling. There is a wide variety of fishes, corals and many sea turtles. We are in a small village quiet and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend this address.

It was the cutest place to stay at Kri! The homestay is very simple, don't expect luxuries like hot shower or AC in your hut - read the Raja Ampat page as there are people coming expecting a 5* resort... If you are looking for a unique and authentic experience, you should stay here. Great value for money, good location for snorkeling, close to dive sites, and the bungalows are over-water which adds to the experience. The food was very tasty and the manager Wahid did his best to make me feel welcome 💛

The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.

The homestay is really nice! It’s by the beach and you have lots of corals just in front. The food is excellent :) The family is very welcoming and nice I highly recommend :)

Beautiful location. Everybody is so kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here. The view is breathtaking 😍 I stayed for a week and was sad when I had to leave. I enjoyed the dives with divemaster Abang. The food was delicious. Bucket showers and back to basics, I really loved the entire experience so much! Thank you Herman, Nani, Abang and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay on Kri Iskand! 🙏🥰

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Very nice and helpful staff, good food. They can also help arrange trips for snorkeling or bird watching. Big rooms, air-con and fan 24/7. Many birds in the resort area also.
