Very friendly, helpful and fluent English speaking hosts. They provided me a ride to my next location as it was so close. The location is only steps away from a street filled with amazing local food. The food at the hotel is superb too. They offered to make a traditional vegetarian dish for me off the menu and it was delicious. The room was nice too. The bed is comfy, and the shower is great.

We stayed the for 4 weeks in total. The stay was great. The owner Tony is a super nice and helpful guy. If we needed something he was there immediately and helped us out. The room has enough space for two people, baggage and surfboards. It got a modern fridge and a water dispenser. Also cutlery and plates. It got a beautiful veranda directly in front of the beach. Also the house has a small front yard for parking your bike. It also got an outside water valve to clean your stuff/yourself after surfing. The location is good! It takes 3 to 5 min to the next local restaurants. And 1 min to a big resort. The accommodation is in between the two surf bays. Takes 10-15 min to go to dirty hippies/northern rights and 10-15 min to Limestones/Mangroves. We had a great time and can totally recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at Gili Dua! From the moment we arrived, Amanda made us feel incredibly welcome. She is the loveliest host you could hope for, and her entire team are just as friendly, warm, and helpful. What really sets Gili Dua apart is the atmosphere. There’s a special vibe here – relaxed, open, and full of great conversation. It was so nice to connect with other guests, swap stories, and share tips over breakfast or after a day out. It felt like a little community. The rooms are ultra comfortable, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed. Plus, the wifi is strong and consistent, which was a huge plus for us as we were working remotely during our stay. If you’re heading to south west Sumbawa, we can’t recommend Gili Dua enough. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, friendliness, and fun.

Most beautiful place I have ever stayed at… A dream! We had the best time in our villa. The staff was the nicest you can imagine, especially Sefi! Restaurant is good and there is a free shuttle that takes you to their twin hotel / restaurant where the food is amazing!
