We had the most amazing food, lovingly prepared and enjoyed stunning views from our private balcony and the grounds. The property has a nice pool and several places to watch the sun set over the ocean. We were serenaded by frogs each night and enjoyed watching birds and monkeys in the trees.

Our stay at Air Manis was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal, the place was spotless, and Erwin and the staff were incredibly welcoming ! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the atmosphere was peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended! (Beautiful sunset too!!!)

Calm environment in a residential area. The room is clean with hot water shower. The breakfast is handmade, fresh and delicious. Dila is an amazing host with a shining personality and her family and neighbours are welcoming. Dila offered to pick us at the bus station (free of charge)she is disponible, helpful. She helped us during our stay to organise our transport and send one box back home and share some suggestions to visit around. Possibility to rent a motorbike to visit Padang and around.

Ricky’s beach house has a great location! It’s away from the busyness and noise of the city on a quiet, beautiful beach. The staff were great! They were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious and the live music at night was a bonus- just bring ear plugs if you like an early night! There’s great options for day trips- I loved the boat trip to the island, including snorkelling, snacks and lunch! The projects attached to the accommodation are super interesting and seem to be really making a difference for the community. Great job guys!

Bayu and his wife were super friendly and greeted us like friends. The homestay was very nice but our highlight was the tour we booked with Bayu the following day. He is a great guide and showed us all the highlights of Padang. We had a great time. He also gave us great tips for the rest of our journey. It was the perfect start to our Sumatra trip! Even though the rooms are a bit basic the bed is comfortable and everything is clean. I liked the bottled water concept and the water fountain on each floor to refile . The whole hotel staff are doing an amazing job and are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge and offers a great selection. Dinner was also very good.
