We stayed at The Waters Country House during our trip through the Irish countryside and it was like stepping into a fairytale. The house is absolutely stunning—full of charm and character. Our host, Wolfgang, was very kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful setting with unique furniture and warm lighting, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We also recommend booking a table at Monks restaurant nearby—local taxi drivers make it easy to get there without a car. A very special place we’d love to return to!

Barrymor is a great place to stay. It is spotless, extremely comfortable and ideally located off the beaten track and only a short walk or drive to Ballyvaghan. Helen is a wonderful host, very friendly. I can't recommend Barrymor and Helen highly enough, I will definitely be back.
