An amazing hotel. Extremely kind people. An entire family dedicated to your well-being. Just located 200 meters away from the Damascus gate of the bursting Jerusalem, this hotel is calm. We do recommend the restaurent as well. We simply had, with great pleasure, our 4 diners onsite. Last but not least, the value for money was outstanding. This will be our hotel at the occasion of any trip to Israel! A big BRAVO and MERCI to the Staff & Management :-))

This hotel has been our home away from home in Jerusalem for years now, and it never disappoints! It's located in a quiet area, with a public (and free) parking lot just a couple of minutes on foot from the hotel; I'd suggest to have a car, because while there are a few restaurants nearby, if you want to go to Jerusalem city centre it's the best way. A big bonus of this hotel is the garden, an oasis of calm, beautiful in every season. The services and amenities are excellent and the staff goes out of their way to make guests feel home (thank you so much, we really feel part of the Alegra family!). Our favourite room is in the main building, with direct access to the garden (and when possible, the hotel accomodates our special request, like they did this time), but I can assure you that also the rooms in the building right opposite the street have the same beauty, unique style and another little garden (but guests are always welcome to come to the main building to enjoy the garden and the dining room/coffee corner). I highly recommend, at least one morning during your stay, to indulge in the rich, fresh and absolutely delicious breakfast (Israeli, with salad, bread, cheese, eggs, shakshuka... but you'll also find something if you prefer a sweet treat to start your day) - and the dining room is stunning and full of light, too!

Breakfast is fantastic. Friday brunch, exceptional. The location is beautiful and peaceful. A great place to spend a few days to adjust to time differences, climate etc, before joining any tours. The biblical garden is lovely and educational. Its a peaceful place to rest. A very relaxing, clean and peaceful place.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful! Perfectly located in the center of Jerusalem, just steps away from all the main attractions. It was spotless, stylishly decorated, and very comfortable.     Our host Arie responded really quickly to our queries before our arrival. The apartment is spacious and light . It was spotlessly clean and all the furnishings were of good quality and looked new. The kitchen was well equipped with all basic necessities and ample additional cleaning products ( kitchens roll, clean tea cloths, etc) Very comfy beds. Great shower and plenty of hot water. The location is great, close to Jerusalem . There was street parking available very close to the property.

    No issue. The place was easy to find. Good communication with Iris in English. The area was quite busy and we were lucky enough to find a parking spot in the street (but the host also said she could open the gate if needed. Not far from the Mount Herzl park+ride carpark (park there, get the light rail from Jerusalem, and you don't have to pay for parking)
