Amazing experience with Holiday Hill. with Booking.com it was a quick booking I have done at a budget price. Everything was the best in this property such as peaceful location, delicious food with good quantity with affordable price and comfortable Rooms with all facilities even we were not expecting. Room service was so quick. The service staff was friendly and honest. We have ordered extra food as we were expecting less quantity usually getting in most of the hotels, however room service staff suggested the quantity and helped us.

I was particularly pleased with my stay at Vacation Home in McLeod Ganj. On several occasions, I spent eight nights there, interspersed with an introductory course on Buddhism at the Tushita Meditation Centre, a very interesting trip to nearby Punjab, and a meeting with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The accommodation is well located, the rooms are clean, cosy and have comfortable beds, the shower is nice and hot and the bathroom is well equipped. The kindness of Amit, who runs the place, and his assistants, including Rahul, with whom I travelled around Punjab, was exceptional. When I had to take a taxi to Chandigarh at short notice due to a cancelled flight from Dharamsala, Rahul immediately made himself available to accompany me on an adventurous journey lasting several hours. I also recommend having breakfast with paratha, a flatbread that can be eaten on its own or stuffed, for example with spiced potatoes (alu paratha).
