We had an amazing one-day stay at this beautiful home stay! with low budget. The highlight of our stay was definitely the morning hours from 6:30 to 8:30, when the atmosphere was absolutely serene and peaceful. The super paddies and lake view were a treat to wake up to, and we felt completely rejuvenated and refreshed. The stay itself was very comfortable, and we loved the fact that it had a pool where we could relax and unwind. The entire property had a great vibe, and we felt right at home.

Vala House was pristine clean, quiet, beautiful, and had a lovely staff who made us feel welcomed and home. Lallu, Kabeer and Shiji were wonderful! They explained everything about the place and the facilities and went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Our bedroom was lovely, had a great bathroom, bed and shower, and an amazing view to the backwaters with a private terrace.

It was my best stay in Kerala! the house is lovely in front of the beach, the rooms are really comfortable with everything needed and there is a rooftop overlooking the ocean. the breakfast is also very varied and delicious! WiFi connection is really good! Sajeev and his sons were amazing during my solo stay! they helped me renting à bicycle, informed me where to watch the fishermen, they helped me with Ayurveda massage (you get a discount thanks to them) and yoga classes and the most amazing thing was that Sajeev’s wife came to teach me Keralan cooking one night! they even invited me the next day for breakfast and to learn the lunch preparation :) it was such a unique experience with this family!! Thank you again for everything, it was wonderful!! My only suggestion would be to change the WiFi password (private joke)!
