An absolute hidden gem in North Kerela. Literally had a pristine private paradise beach all to myself, for normal guest house prices. Staff were always available, and helped with everything, from food to transport, even sorting out a once in a lifetime trip to see the Theyamm rituals. This is the real unspoilt India, away from the usual tourist traps - come if you want a quiet, peaceful and authentic experience, but please just don't tell everyone!

It was such a great experience staying at this guest house especially because the couple running this establishment is so wonderful and human.Me and my family coming from Trishur reached here very late at night but they waited the whole day till the night to receive us.When we left I had lost my phone behind.The owner searched whole day and finally found it and send it to my cousin by Courier.Concerning the lodgement it is just 10 minuets from the beach.The rooms are quite large and clean.The breakfast was delicious.We will be back again.

It is a little tricky to find at the end of a small maze of roads and tracks - and that is why it is absolutely one of the top places to stay if you like getting away from it all. The view from the beautiful communal terrace out into the grove of coconut palms and trees, with the promise of the Arabian Sea just beyond that is wonderful. Excellent owner who trusts his lovely staff to get on well with the tasks. Whether guiding that first time route down to the beautiful Thottada beach; serving food or souring a bottle of chilled soda water and lemons.
