Glorious place in the middle of nowhere. Convenient for a trip down the F35 road. Nothing special but that suits the location. One of my favourite places I stayed at in Iceland.

We had a lovely stay. Very clean and comfy, quiet and has a great view, as well as a small patio, so a great place to relax. Close to the ring road and F35 which access the highlands. You can make small meals and coffee in the accommodation. Highly recommended.

The host and the hostess are so kind to let us stay in the big apartment. The room looks much greater than pictures on Booking.com. There are two lovely border collies who are the most enthusiastic creatures in the world.

It is a great location facing the mountains of northern Iceland—an hour or so to Akureyri and 5 minutes from the end of the F35 inland route. We loved the cosiness of the area and house. The heating was very good, and the shower was decent too. It can be slightly small for four people, but we managed. We loved having visits by the resident dog! She was so friendly; we could have played with her all day!

Free parking and is in a very quiet area near the river and in the middle of the mountains. It’s very beautiful in the morning when the mist is covering parts of the mountains. It’s natural. The location is not very far from Blonduos which restaurants and other amenities are.

Located in Blönduós, Brekkukot Cottages, Blönduós provides accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.

The three cottages (we stayed in #3) seem to be brand new. They appear to be tiny homes. They are great! There's a nice kitchen/living/dining room that has a sofa bed if needed (we didn't use it). A separate bathroom with an enclosed shower and a separate bedroom with two twin beds (next to each other). There is electric "radiators" for heat. The unit is nice and accommodating. We have enjoyed staying here. The owner is good at communicating via the messaging through Booking.com.

3 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean. And the hot tub was such a nice treat after a day of travels. Communication with host was great, very responsive.

This property is 6 km from the Route 1 Ring Road. Free slippers, a bathrobe, and use of the summer outdoor swimming pool in Hótel Húni's rooms.

Amazing breakfast, clean rooms, large bathroom, hot tub, regular pool. The hotel used to be a school, so there are also interesting bits of history to learn. Raymond at the reception was very kind and helpful. Even though we were the only guests at the hotel, he prepared an amazing breakfast for us and helped with everything we needed. Easily accessible from the ring road. I'd visit this place again.

The Summer Cottage is probably the most beautiful, I've ever seen. There is a lovely little "living room", a small kitchen, a bathroom with free shampoo and a cozy bedroom inside. The owners are also super friendly and helpful. I recommend it totally!
