We appreciated that this beautiful former Tuscan monastery was convenient to Sienna, but was peaceful and quiet and surrounded by beautiful open space. We enjoyed roaming the grounds with its numerous outdoor seating, walking and lounging areas, as well as the outdoor saltwater pool and attached lounge area. The interior spaces are elegant but comfortable and inviting. We were upgraded to a junior suite which we jokingly referred to as the "Cinderella suite" as we had to climb approx. 65 steps to get to our rooms, but we couldn't complain as it was comfortable and had everything we needed (excluding large windows as it seemed as if the suite was originally attic space), with a sitting room, walk in closet, and large sleeping room and bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of both hot and cold, savory and sweet items, with fresh coffee and tea made to order, and seating options provided both indoors and outdoors. The numerous staff were helpful, friendly and polite, and were quick to check to see if we needed anything. We were even provided a tour of the attached church by the caretaker :) with translation provided by one of the wonderful ladies that work at the front desk. What an amazing adventure!

Giocomo and Lorenzo are both incredibly warm, engaging, kind, and helpful. We appreciated their recommendations, and are so grateful to have stayed in their lovely hotel! The 18th century building is simply beautiful; the high ceilings, original tile floor, and frescoes in our room were truly splendid, and the beautiful grounds were perfect for sipping wine and having breakfast outside. The location is also terrific because it is just outside of the city, so completely tranquil, yet only a 10 to 15 minute walk into the city, which we even did twice in one day. We were delighted to be able to purchase olive oil harvested from Hotel Palazzo di Valli’s olives, and can’t wait to try it when we return home! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer, and we hope to return. We highly recommend this amazing place!

Beautiful appartment in great location. The check in was very flexible and friendly. Carlo and his sister Francesca are amazing hosts! Francesca talked so nice about the history of the appartment and gave us some tips for places in Siena. The appartment is very clean and neat.     The hotel is located almost 30 minutes' walk to the Dome (2 km away). The apartment is spacious, and you have everything you need. At the check-in, you receive all the information you need. Nearby is a Carrefour market. The bus station is very close. There is free parking in front of the hotel (also underground parking). In the morning they offer you free coffee. Is not the best coffee, but it is definitely a plus. If I'll come back to Siena again, for sure I will choose to stay here.

    The property was unique and characterful. The location was perfect to get to lots of great bars, restaurants and sights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The valet car parking was very useful and made our stay much easier.

    Nice, large appt, with a nice outside space. King size bed, with a double fold out bed. 15 minute walk into the centre with lots of bars/cafes on the way in. Free parking can be an issue, but be patient as the San Francesco paid car park is around 40 Euros per day. Siena is a beautiful ancient city, well worth a visit.
