The location is beautiful and my room had a lovely view on the hills. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. I asked to stay a couple of hours after the usual check-out and since there was nobody checking in immediately the owner kindly let me stay.

Our faboulous host Andrea is an outstanding cook and showed us every day how to celebrate, to discuss and enjoy the art of cooking and preparing the food and beverages of Monferrato combined with some greetings from Tuscany. Beautiful hotel very thoughtful owner who cares a great deal. Lovely restaurant for lunch /dinner excellent food and wine. The hotel also has an outdoor pool whoch we did not exect and is great. Beautiful big room. Very clean and well presented.

Everything was absolutely perfect: the location is breathtaking, the staff went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, the food was simply amazing, everything was extremely clean with a lovely homey perfume. We felt at home and we will go back for sure. We also recommend booking the wine tasting, as it's a one of a kind experience which introduces you even more to the story of Canonica.

The breakfasts were delicious and varied each day, made from fresh local products. One evening, we also ordered dinner—what a great decision! The food and wine were both exceptional. Huge thanks to our host, Federica, for cooking and serving such a memorable meal. We worked online during the day, and the space was comfortable for two people, with fast and reliable internet. The location is perfect for nature lovers—hiking trails start right at the doorstep. It’s very peaceful and quiet, with amazing views from the large terrace. The rustic interior is spacious and charming, and we especially loved spending time on the huge terrace. We also had occasional visits from the owner’s sweet dog, which we enjoyed. Federica was a wonderful host—very friendly and full of helpful local recommendations. Overall, an amazing stay. 100% recommended for anyone who loves good food, nature, tranquility, and beautiful scenery!
