The best place we stayed during our trip ! Such a lovely family that made everything to make us feel welcome ! The house has an amazing traditional charm and we slept in the best futon beds we tried in japan ! A nice traditional place with original features and adorable attentive staff. The property itself was much bigger than what we expected - it was a villa over the two floors rather than a usual suite. There is a view over the garden and a private onsen in the villa - one inside and one outside. We’ve been served a traditional Japanese dinner and a breakfast in our dining room - a real treat!

Huge, beautiful, comfortable apartment. The staff & service was fantastic; very attentive. It’s expensive but the experience was fabulous. We were given traditional outfits to wear for the kaiseki style dinner in the room. The food was delicious & very plentiful. Breakfast was the same - so much food! The highlight was the private heated spa pool on the balcony. It was a lovely relaxing experience in the middle of a very busy tour of Japan - just what we needed!
