Beautiful setting and not far from Shinkansen station. Great escape from city life with the onsen and swimming pool. Lovely, friendly staff, while communication in English was challenging, with translation apps everything worked out. Breakfast was Japanese, which catered great to my taste and upon request, there is also a children breakfast set, that is more continental.

Had an absolute excellent stay at Ryokan Takimuraya. The elderly couple managing it were kind, attentive and hospitable. The room was big, clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinner options were delicious! It is in a good location for travellers visting Karumai for the Haikyuu pilgrimage. Highly recommended and I would love to stay here again! : )

The place is perfect even it is slightly away from the city and main tourist areas. We really enjoy it. Also free soft drink, beer, and wine. If we come this area again, no doubt we will stay at here.
