For the price this hotel is amazing in quality of both the room, the food and the onsen. While it is small, it was very relaxing. Location is great both to the main station and the port. In good weather you should visit an island near Mihara, because they are beautiful

Perfect location ditectly in front of the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Free use of microwaves, washing machines and dryer, bicycles, umbrellas and even a printer and copier. Pleny of free amenities for the bathroom. We had a small problem with one of the bikes that required fixing by a mechanic. The money we spent on that got reimbursed immediately with a lot of apologies. Very well handled. If you have questions about what to do or where to go, the very friendly and polite staff are happy to advise you in any way and print out ferry times or train tables. Rain was pouring when we left and while waiting under the little roof outside the door for the traffic light to turn green, the receptionist came out and she _gave_ us two umbrellas as a gift! Amazing value for money. Would not even consider any other place when coming back.

From the moment we entered the house, we were astonished by the interior design, furnitures, beautiful japanese and western-style bed rooms, the view and the beautiful garden full of lemon trees and sauna facing the sea. It was beyond expectation and our family will definitely come back here again and will stay more than one night! The host welcomed us with welcome drinks and there was draft 'lemon sour' (classic japanese alcoholic drinks) installed in the kitchen. There was almost everything in the kitchen that we needed.

I am a passionate cyclist, and I came to Onomichi to do Shimanami Kaido. It was wonderful to stay in a hotel that is built around the cycling lifestyle. The overall style was great, staff was extraordinarily friendly, even for Japanese standards. I would definitely come here again.

My apartment was simply superb. Very big, comfortable and homely. Welcoming staff and relaxed vibe. Lots of parking. Location on the inlet is interesting with lots of shipping to watch.
