We loved our stay with the exceptionally kind and helpful couple. It’s a remote village up a steep mountain road, with a great bar next door! The food was delicious. We enjoyed chatting to the hosts. We had a trip to Mt Koyasan and got drenched in a rain storm. The kind hosts dried our shoes in a special Japanese machine!

Amazing and memorable stay I had there. They met me by the train station and then I spent a lovely calm night on the mountain and at 6 in the morning we had a pray in the temple. Amazing place to stay in! Such a lot of stunning scenery. The accommodation was lovely and had a very authentic Japanese feel to it. The rooms were idyllic and we had the privilege of meeting the owner - she was very friendly and lovely. It was much bigger than expected and great value for money! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate for us and was always quick to respond to any questions and help us if we got stuck. If I ever get chance to return to Japan, I would definitely want to stay here again!
