The restaurant area was beautiful with good food, overlooking the Mekong and a lovely garden area. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

The River Resort is 8 km from the World Heritage site of Wat Phou. It offers stylish air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi.

Lovely place to stay! Big rooms, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, lovely garden, kind and arranging staff. All perfectly clean. Little convenience store right next to the reception. Tuk-tuk service to Wat Phou. I only stayed there one night but I would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Champassak!
