The room was spacious and very clean. The hosts were very kind. The gentleman from the Cabanas guide us all from the town. Then fresh flowers were placed all around. Worth for the money. Calm and quite peaceful environment. Recommend for couples.

I liked the calm of the setting, in the trees and away from the road. The staff were very lovely, and the breakfast was incredible.

The wonderful caretakers - they are lovely people that could not do enough for us - and they cooked the most fantastic meals for us each evening - which we ate on our balcony - also Andrew the hotel transport manager - what a great lovely gentleman - he took us to the local temple - and arranged elephant excursions and lifts for us to the hotel from peacock village for breakfast each morning - genuine wonderful Sri Lankan people that made our trip with them a wonderful experience we will never forget - thoroughly recommend peacock village to anyone visiting pinnawala

This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed at. Recently renovated, no expense has been spared to bring the Colonial mansion back to life. Easily the best place we have stayed during our time in Sri Lanka . From the moment we arrived , everything was absolutely perfect . The Villa is set in an idyllic location surrounded by incredible scenery and the rooms are incredibly well appointed and spotlessly clean. The Pool area is immaculate and is a setting like no other . The location is also ideal if you’re heading to Pinawala Elephant orphanage as it’s just 5 min away by tuk-tuk. Additionally , the food here is some of yhr best we’ve had, served professionally and with care and every meal was delicious . We already can’t wait to return next year! .

We made a last-minute booking and were lucky to get the Sky Villa – a true gem and hidden treasure! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with a private jacuzzi pool and an unbeatable sense of privacy. The service was exceptional, with staff operating at the highest level of professionalism. Totally worth the price. The feeling of being on top of a giant rock is indescribable – truly unique! The room was brand new, and we learned the hotel only opened three months ago. You definitely won’t regret staying here!
