The food was absolutely amazing and plentiful - I was served traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with hoppers, string hoppers, curry, and fresh tropical fruits that exceeded all my expectations. The portions were generous, more than I could finish in one sitting. Fonseka isn't just a host but a very knowledgeable tour guide who went above and beyond to enhance my stay. He recommended hidden local gems not found in tourist guides, shared fascinating historical details about Anuradhapura's ancient sites, and arranged transportation that made exploring effortless. His insights about the Sacred Bo Tree and Ruwanwelisaya stupa added tremendous value to my visit. My room was spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding and effective air conditioning - essential after long days exploring in the Sri Lankan heat. The garden setting provided a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. I felt safe and genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. We had an excellent two night stay at corner cottage! The hosts were so friendly and lovely to talk to, and incredibly helpful in supporting us to plan our stay. Gihan also took us to the market to buy fresh produce and then we all cooked delicious Sri Lankan food together. Definitely recommend staying here :)

The guy is super nice and helpful. The place is very clean and tidy. You have different outside seating and can use the kitchen. Only one room so very small and cozy. We got a tour from a family member and saw amazing spots and had a fun time. Also food recommendations were great, local food that was the best we had so far. Lovely relaxing stay that had a home stay feel. The host was very kind, she made us feel welcome and provided a good breakfast too. The staff are outstanding. Friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and our vegan diet was easily catered for. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is free parking behind a secure gate, and the location is convenient for visiting local sites. The pool is beautiful and a great setting alongside which to eat a meal.
