Everything was perfect, and as always, everything started and ended with the people. Catherine and Michel are amazing people, with a huge heart and a big smile. Always ready to help, with good advice and help with the surfboards, renting a bike, renting a tuk-tuk or any other matter that makes an ordinary vacation so amazing. Another thing, the hotel staff, smiling, polite and kind. It is clear that the place is so important to them as if it were their own home. The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail and this, in my experience, is extremely rare in Sri Lanka. The cabins are cozy, air-conditioned and ventilated. The beds are extremely comfortable, the showers are spacious and partially exposed to the sky and the coconut halves scattered around. Hot water 24/7 is simply magic. The pool is simply amazing, pleasant and clean at all times, spotless. The location - on the pottuvil Point strip and within walking distance of the point itself, which is one of the best in Sri Lanka. Even beginners will enjoy this beach. Even those who do not surf and want to relax will greatly enjoy the special and quiet location. The restaurant is run by a local family and serves varied and delicious food at completely reasonable prices and with meticulous service. You can eat in the restaurant or next to the room. In conclusion, my brother and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and I have no doubt that we will return to this magical place again. The staff were amazing! They were really nice and applied to all of our requests. The hotel is in a great location, with yoga classes (for extra charge) and the room was big and comfortable. We had a great stay. The air conditioning is great and new. We would definitely choose it again on our next visit. Highly recommend!

The location is quiet but close enough to walk to the beach. The accommodation is basic but fully functional and I had the best sleep here each night out of my whole 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Enjoyed being able to choose breakfast from the menu. Rifai and family were very friendly and Rifai helped with all my questions and arranged a tuktuk for me. The family have recently opened this accommodation and are currently building another room. Please support local!

Great location. Nice pool and size is big compared to the size of the hotel. Big and clean rooms, beds are confortable. Breakfast available (order from the list) and its price and quality is good. Good and secure parking slot for car.

Good attention and receiving from the hosts. They allow us to choose between 2 rooms at our convenience. The location is great, just 2 min walk from the beach and away from the noisy main street. The bed was really good, the AC worked perfectly and a nice big bathroom. You also can use the kitchen to make your own meals and there is a fridge you can also use. Space for parking your tuk tuk or motorbike.

A comfy house right in front of the sea with all the comforts, very clean, with private parking and the owner is very welcoming. Absolutely a great stay in Aragum Bay. The view of the sunrise from the patio is great.
