Its a beautiful place in the countryside, simple and rustic and so pretty ... the bed was very comfortable and both the room and bathroom very clean and the breakfast setting, looking at the garden and land beyond, created a very peaceful start to the day and the omelette was delicious ... the host and his wife are delightful, too!

Everything! A hidden gem in a charming village near Anuradhapura! With only three beautifully designed cabins, the place feels intimate, peaceful, and truly authentic. The service was exceptional – Madushka made us feel so welcome, and the food by Chef Mathiv and his team was absolutely outstanding. We loved walking through the village, where locals smiled and waved at us warmly. Quiet, authentic, and close to the archaeological sites – highly recommended!

Amazing place. Great service, the family is so kind and really does everything to make your stay the best it could be. They helped me with arranging a reliable and friendly driver to get from the airport to the guest house, and we stopped multiple times so I could try local fruits, so sweet. The son of the household showed me around Mihintale, and the parents provided a lovely meal every morning and evening at my requested time - absolutely amazing food that will keep you going for days haha! The room was very nice and clean. I was looking for something a bit more fancy, and definitely got what I was looking for and for a great price. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets and a nice bathroom. Environment is super calm and great if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Peacocks, chameleons and beautiful butterflies all around, you can spot everything from the comfort of your breakfast table. Honestly couldn't think of any improvements!

Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka. If you're planning a trip to Anuradhapura or Mihintale to explore the sacred Buddhist sites, and you're looking for something authentic and off the tourist trail, stay in Mihintale. We had an amazing stay at this holiday home in Anuradhapura. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and up to a high standard—much better than we expected for the price. The whole place felt relaxing and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Anuradhapura.

We were received very kindly. Very clean, Very tasty food. Wimal's car took us to show the beautiful places. Wimal took us to see Wilpattu national park. Reasonable prices. Accommodation was arranged for one day and we stayed for three days. I highly recommend this accommodation.

It’s a great place to stay, very quiet. The pool is huge, if you like swimming, it’s so great!! The owner of the property is very helpful and we had great talks. The team is very helpful and gives good advice for whatever you want to do. The cooking of the chef is amazing. It was the best food we find in Sri Lanka. A big thank you to all of you!!
