The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

This place is a gem. The rooms are fabulous. Very luxurious feel in the rooms and common areas. Food was delicious with lots of choice. The staff are wonderful, attentive without ever being intrusive. The cleaning is impeccable. We stayed here for our last two days in Sri Lanka and it was a great place to relax and unwind.

This is a wonderful place with great bungalows, a lovely garden with pool and the nicest hosts who will do everything to make you feel at home. Even before you arrive Nelson makes you feel so welcome and he cooks a delicious rice and curry. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Lunuganga is absolutely beautiful, and the staff make the experience better than you could ever imagine. The food is really fantastic and bonus services like room service and late breakfasts made for an amazing stay. I cannot stress enough how incredible this place is - forget about the high price for Sri Lanka, it is worth every penny! Breakfast is included and it is a HUGE breakfast probably normally worth $30, so this is a great addition. The rooms were so comfortable, excellent beds, stunning interior design (obviously the architecture is incredible). The gardens are so lush and green, it's a real treat to walk around them. The tours are definitely worth it - you learn a lot. We stayed in the "Guest Suite" room in the de Silva house, and I hope to stay again it was perfect. I've included pictures of breakfast, but not lunch, which was Sri Lankan curry (but they have other options).

The best start in Sri Lanka. I am happy that I found this great accommodation, definitely I will come here again. Early in the morning I was so kindly picked up by Wasantha at the airport in Colombo, felt immediately well taken care of. Then I was so warmly welcomed by Nashanthi and her mother at Sri Lancashire. The place, the location, the staff simply a dream. And the breakfast, I can hardly put it into words, you have to experience it yourself, I still dream about it now.

Unfortunately we only stayed in the accommodation for three nights because we were traveling through Sri Lanka by tuk-tuk. The River Breeze Villa is absolute madness. Pradeep and his family are so incredibly nice and accommodating and try to organize everything you need. The bed was the best of our trip so far and there is even a pool that you can use at any time. There is also a great breakfast. If we are in Bentota again, we will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

Sea Turtles Bungalow is truly one of the best stays in Iduruwa! The bungalow has a beautiful colonial charm, very clean and well-maintained. We spent one night at the Black Monkey Villa in mid-September and felt completely at home. The accommodation is tastefully and functionally furnished - the air conditioning, hairdryer and fridge are in mint condition and worked perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and the covered outdoor area invites you to enjoy the beautiful view of the greenery even when it rains. The shower was a real highlight - by far the best we experienced during our stay in Sri Lanka. We were able to relax wonderfully and would definitely come back on our next visit to Sri Lanka!
