Absolutely loved staying here. The beach was super close , short walk to peanut farm surf break . Very easy going indoor outdoor flow . Loved being closed to nature. Nilana was an absolute legend and very helpful!

Extremely helpful and polite owner and staff, everything was clean and tidy, Doctor Heshan (Owner) helped us with just about anything we could think off from arranging breakfast, barbeque dinner, recommending surf bays and trips to conversations about Sri Lanka ways of living. Thank you for everything, we will always remember and hope to come back one day.

The huts are super special, very nice place to stay and sleep, right on the beach. The staff are a very friendly family. Quite far from the Arugam center but for me that was great as I needed a nice peaceful spot for myself plus I rented a bike so was pretty easy getting around.

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Salty Alchemy feels like home, beautifully decorated and positioned right on the beachfront. Julia and Loku were the most incredible hosts and their dogs were the best companions whilst having afternoon naps in the hammock with the waves crashing!

We spent an entire month at this beautiful villa in Arugam Bay, and it truly felt like home from day one. The villa was perfect for our needs (big bedrooms, AC, wifi, kitchen well equipped…). The garden is not fully finished (in progress) but we definitely enjoyed the outside shower. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the host. From the very first message until the day we left, he was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. His kindness, availability, and genuine care made all the difference — we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The location is ideal too: just close enough to the center of Arugam Bay to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, but far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The beach is only a few minutes away — perfect for an early morning swim or surf session. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you again for making our stay so special — we will definitely be back one day! 🌴
