The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

a perfect checkin made a perfect first impression: the whole place was just like in any westerner's dream, who wants to stay in a rain forest for a few days: spotted meny monkeys, crocodiles, birds, mammals from our terrace and even from our bed, through the windows! Very calm place, but still close to the main road and villages. The equipment is of course basic, as should be in such a place, but still, the insect-free bedroom, hot water provided clean bathroom adds a lot to the experience. Having your meals at the place is recommended, as it is all prepared a la minute according to your taste, and served on your teracce. Just dont stay here if you usually like huge resorts, nightlife and busy days, as this retreat wont be suitable for you. Our tip is to switch our phone off at least for a day of your stay, but anyway, the wifi issue, mantioned in some previous comments has been resolved. I hope this place stays the same for many years to come! Enjoy.

One of the best stays ever, the family is very welcoming, helpful and nice, they took great care of me, always available through Whatsapp to assure my smooth arrival, the property is gorgeous, the scenery overlooking rice paddies is amazing, the room is clean and comfortable. The meals prepared by Umesha are delicious and the tour by Saman is great! Loved my stay here and recommend this property with closed eyes.

We spent one night in Evergreen Villa, which provides a stunning view over the nature area. The room we stayed in was build very recently and was clean and neat. We received a warm welcome with a welcome drink (a papaya smoothie). We did the 5-6 hours rainforest tour and had a wonderful time. We saw a lot of different animals, such as snakes, a scorpion, owls and monkeys.

Wonderful host! So caring and nice. The host texted me before our arrival and sent one of the staff mambers to meet us and help us to reach our cozy house. The property was so clean and with an outstanding view. We did some lunch and dinner there and the food was perfect (coffee as well)! You can ask some fruit plates and juice - it was so fresh. We spent our weekend just enjoying the view and the environment but there were nice routes to hike and explore the nature.

We only got the room, but it was excellent value for money. Room facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to provide us with great hospitality. We particularly enjoyed learning more about the Sinharaja Forest from the insightful books they provided. The weather during our stay was also ideal – not too hot or too cool, which made exploring very pleasant. The overall peaceful atmosphere of the location was also a big plus, allowing for a truly relaxing stay

This place is very special and wonderful. The surrounding is so beautiful, so many birds, peacocks, squirrels, running around and also some water buffaloes. Also the room is very nice and clean, not that big, but totally enough for 2 people.

Our stay at Sinharaja Forest Lodge was truly relaxing. The lodge is surrounded by lush tea plantations and beautiful greenery, making it a perfect escape into nature. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. We especially loved the morning views and peaceful atmosphere.
