The property is in a small village in the nature, you are really close to the village itself but the property feels like miles away and is so peaceful. The property is simple but clean and has all necessary amendities. Prasad was the best host we ever had, every question and concern or request was adressed immediately. He arranged a tranfers and safari for us for very a reasonable price. His family provides delicious breakfast and dinner if requested which was a real taste of Sri Lanka.

The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The room is very big with a nice small terrace in the back facing the pool. The hosts are amazing! They made our one night stay very enjoyable even though it rained so bad. We did a safari with them in block 5 and 6. The tour guide was very good.

This delightful spot is tucked away just off the main road to Udwalawa off Thanamalwila road to Wellawaya, offering a tranquil escape. The atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful — the perfect setting to unwind. Dilan, a man of many talents, was exceptionally welcoming and provided outstanding customer service throughout our stay. To our delight, he even joined us at the dinner, serenading us with his guitar and impressive vocals, which added a truly personal and memorable touch to the evening. There is immense potential for further development at this property, and with its already charming character and warm hospitality, it could become an even more remarkable place.

Nalin was the best gost I had in Sri Lanka - so helpful, friendly, hospitable. I originally booked this place for the safari, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to explore nearby. Beautiful lakes, jungles, temples, a bat viewpoint, and plenty of nature… Nalin also provided me with a bicycle, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The dinner prepared by Nalin’s wife was absolutely delicious. The room had everything I needed. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to nature lovers!

An amazing hotel surrounded by beautiful nature, filled with the sounds of birdsong and the peaceful melodies of the environment. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a full board package, and my favorite dish was the Sri Lankan prawn curry at the Turnstone restaurant. The service was incredibly friendly, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. A special mention to Harsha at the main restaurant, who took excellent care of my drinks and was always warm and welcoming. I also tried the Indian head massage at the hotel spa, which was deeply relaxing. The therapist asked how I was feeling and ensured the pressure was to my liking, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel has a large swimming pool set in the heart of nature, perfect for daytime relaxation. Throughout the day, I only saw about 10 people there, which made it feel peaceful and exclusive. I especially enjoyed sipping fresh coconut water by the pool – a truly refreshing experience. The room was very spacious and had everything I needed, including a minibar, coffee, and tea-making facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this hotel and would confidently recommend it to my friends. I will definitely return.

I can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect, the room clean and beautiful, the host just amazing and friendly. Please order the food from the host, it was the best curry I have tasted in my entire life. Also the fried rice was delicious. They offer really good safaris and their driver is superb, very knowledgeable and dedicated. You should definitely stay here!
