Great location, close to the airport. Don was the best host! He collected us from the airport and was very patient about delays caused by the bad weather. Despite power outages across the area he still made us a lovely breakfast and ensured we got where we needed to go. Highly recommend!

The Villa, comprised of a ground floor with sitting room, dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette. Even though the cooking utensils are there, there is no smell of food lingering in the atmosphere and that is a plus point. A stairway leads to the upper floor where the bedroom is with a big lounger and shower room. All this is set in the midst of a peaceful garden filled with trees and plants and the river running beside it. 😍. There are garden stools and tables arranged nicely and an open bar hut. There’s a shower place by the villa. It’s a restful place with lots of privacy. And just a short walk to the main road where you may get your groceries. It’s a really convenient place. The host, Prasanna and wife Nilaka, were most welcoming and hospitable, and leave you in complete peace unless you request their presence.

The hosts are a very helpful and kind people. They were accomodating with what time they cooked us breakfast and took us to the airport, which were both free of charge. We stayed here for one night before our morning flight home, I highly recommend this accomodation for an airport transit stay.

Transport from the airport was arranged, the staff brought our bags up to our room when we arrived. They made us feel very comfortable. Every meal was excellent cooked special by staff who also helped out with ideas of where to go next as well as arrange rides and tuk tuks for us. We enjoyed a great boat trip on the lagoon where we saw a variety of wildlife and birds. From the hotel situated on the river we saw an array of birds. This was a great start to our trip, highly recommend! Charming village nearby and the markets in Negombo were amazing. The only thing we didn't like was leaving, we will come back soon!!!
