This was fantastic! At Web of Life, we had the most wonderful time! The resort is situated in an incredible spot, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view of a lake, and close to a hill offering a 360-degree view of the Wasgamuwa National Park and the Knuckles Mountain area. We stayed there for three nights and saw more wildlife than ever before: a huge variety of birds right outside our room, wild elephants just 10 minutes away, as well as peacocks, wild hens, and squirrels roaming through the resort. What we especially appreciated was the staff’s extensive knowledge of nature and their enthusiasm for protecting wildlife. Everyone was so warm-hearted and generous, and the food was absolutely delicious! We would love to visit again, perhaps for a longer trip next time!

We stayed one night at the Happy House with Supun. He is a very attentive and friendly host. Various interesting activities are offered. We chose the safari in Wasgamuwa National Park. Supun organised the safari for us and even came with us into the park. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything in detail. Highly recommended. The accommondation is very simple and does not offer much luxury. Getting there is an aventure. It is better to have Supun pick you up from the main road. In conclusion, we can say that the stay was a valuable experience and a beautiful part of our trip to Sri Lanka, as Supun gave us an insight to local life. We would choose the happy house again.

The house is beautiful, clean with a wonderful terrace. The room was large, comfortable, clean and the air conditioning worked well. The owner was very nice and helpful, he arranged for us a safari in a nearby national park under great conditions.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous, located in a spectacular location. The views are incredible.During our stay, we saw monkeys in the trees from our bedroom balcony. The staff provided a 5 star customer service experience. They really couldn't do enough for us. As for the food, wow, it was of such high standard, incredibly tasty, and such large portions! When we departed, unfortunately, our taxi, via pick me cancelled at the last minute. The hotel staff pulled out all the strings, providing us with alternative travel arrangements at such short notice when we had to travel 180 kilometres. A big thank you to all the team for this. Fantastic stay after our visit to the National Park We stayed here for one night after visiting the National Park, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. We were traveling with two children and had a wonderful stay. In the evening, we had a long and pleasant conversation with the owner outside, after which he surprised us with a delicious à la carte dinner. The next morning, a generous breakfast was waiting for us — beautifully prepared down to the smallest detail. The interior also deserves a special mention: tastefully decorated, full of atmosphere, and with great attention to detail. Not your typical, plain hotel room, but a warm and charming space with beautiful furniture. Everything was also spotlessly clean. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay in this region. The owner sometimes also offers guided tours through the National Park — definitely worth asking about! In short: highly recommended!
