The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. I recommend a swim in the river after a day safari!

The property was hidden in the jungle, which felt like the perfect escape and very picturesque. The eco lodge that we stayed in was perfect, as it had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was an incredible feature. The restaurant’s quality of food and service was exceptional. We got to try many Sri Lankan curries and I particularly loved taking part in the cooking class to learn more and the authentic flavours and traditional ways of cooking. I would definitely recommend it here!

The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid
