Blue Moon is beautifully located on top of a ridge overlooking the Indian Ocean. The sunrise in the morning is stunning. The pool and pool area are very nice and the main building has good wifi, a nice seating area and dining room. The breakfast was good with healthy options such as local fruit as well as eggs and bacon. Edgars is a good host who looks after his guests. As the resort was quiet I was given an upgrade to a large house with kitchen which was nicely decorated and comfortable.

I had the greatest time at Sascha's and Chris' place! I stayed in the private room with shared bathroom for roughly a month. The hostel is squeaky clean, has a beautiful garden with hammocks and seating areas which are also ideal for working remotely while sitting outside. It's only a short way down the stairs to the beach and centre ( which takes a bit longer on the way up 😅). I met so many interesting and fun people and had the best time in Tofo. Every other week there is a barbecue or pizza night on the terrace. I'll be back when the whalesharks are. 😏 Thanks for everything!

Our experience was great! Our car broke down that day and the staff were really responsive via phone in case we needed a pickup from the nearby town. In the end we made it in very late at night, but we were able to go straight to a beautifully made room. The breakfast is amazing (definitely best breakfast in Mozambique) and the view from the accommodation across the beach and sea is incredible. We had to leave a little earlier than we wanted to but the staff were amazing about that too.

Very nice little house, a few steps away from the beach. It has a good balcony for the meals with a fantastic view, . Armando and Zacarias, the housekeepers, treated us very well. Despite some carelessness, the mattress is very comfortable and the mosquito net had no holes. It is worth it.

Absolutely the best staff in the whole Mozambique! They helped us a lot with many things for our trip. They were always friendly, chatty and gave us many details regarding the country and attractions nearby. Pleace itself is very nice and charming. The food was very tasty and there are many healthy options.

The on-site restaurant had a wonderful ambiance, and while the room wasn't huge, it was wonderfully cozy, clean, and comfortable, equipped with everything one needs. It truly felt like a home away from home.
