This was a modern spacious cabin with a fantastic view of the fjord and waterfall. The staff was very friendly. Great to be a mile outside of the hustle and bustle of all the cruise ship passengers! We loved it.

Wonderful setting, staff, room and food. Had an evening meal which was superb as was the breakfast. The beds and linen were excellent and the shower warm and powerful. The staff were very professional and welcoming.

This century home has a wonderful, warm atmosphere and country honesty that settles over you during your stay. It all flows from our host, Hege Kirsten, whose warm personality and intelligence makes Overvoll Farm unique. The dinner she served was a gastronomical extravaganza! For me it was the best meal I had during our 2 week visit to Norway. All the salads and relishes were prepared with farm fresh ingredients and to my surprise, were raw. The salmon entre' was cooked perfectly. Hege Kirsten is a very accomplished cook and has put care, thought and research into her meals. We also enjoyed excellent conversation on a range of topics.
