As a family of 4, we had a fantastic time. Especially loved the hot tub, the fire pit and the pétanque area. The accommodation was spacious and super clean & comfortable. Great facilities.

The whole of the accommodation was perfect. All the facilities were clean, built well and beautiful. (Mostly built by the owner btw!). The clean and well equipped kitchen with mega BBQ was our favorite part. Besides that, the garden was designed beautifully with many plants and flowers. The beds were amazing as well. (Better than my own bed at home). And the outdoor living was so fun compared to our daily life in a big city. We honestly have zero complaints. Best place we have stayed in New Zealand!

The beachfront accommodation was extremely tidy and well appointed. The beach itself and bush are wild, lush and beautiful. Shirley, a lovely host, made every request possible. The breakfast with brewed coffee, fresh home laid eggs, marmalade, toast, buns, fresh milk, different cereals, yoghurt and fruits was complete. We enjoyed the stay very much and the various activities such as pancake rocks and several hikes in the dense forest. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic in so many ways: its situation, the garden, the huge rooms in the house, the verandah to sit out on, the massive kitchen, the proximity to the a great place to eat and the beach. We would have loved to spend longer here as it was stop overnight on a road trip. Just being in the house is enough, but there are walks, kayaking and the beach all very close by.
