The suite was beautifully appointed with good quality linen, a very comfortable bed and thoughtful touches. The cafe latte sachets were a welcome change from instant coffee and the host had turned on a heater for us to warm the room for our late arrival. The bathroom was light and bright, and everything was spotlessly clean. The location was excellent and we walked into town for supper.

    My wife, Graham, and I visited the Te Mata Lodge while in town for a wedding. From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and relaxed. The parking lot was one to behold, as was the room itself. I promptly ran myself a bubble bath while my wife, Gavin, watched Tik Tok videos on her electric telephone, using the complimentary Wifi provided by our hosts. Highly recommend this lodging for all. I would rate this 20 out of 10 if I could.

    Exceptionally well appointed, carefully planned and prepared unit - very clean. A lot of thought has obviously gone into making this as comfortable a stay as possible for guests. Fantastic location - couldn't be more central, but also quiet at night. Great off-street parking. Friendly staff. We've used a lot of motels around NZ and this was right up there with the very best of motels - if not The Best, that we've experienced.
