Last minute booking. Easy check in. Lovely and accommodating hosts with a hot baked bread loaf on arrival (delicious) . Location spectacular, relaxing and replenishing. Cabins are beautiful, clean, well maintained and had thoughtful little touch you wouldn't normally expect. Animal friendly. Great value for money. I would describe my stay as Secluded Retreat Escape. The Nutshed is an absolute gem of a place. It was a warm welcoming space beautifully decorated with a modern fully-equipped kitchen. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Bay of Plenty area that is a little of the beaten track but still close to Whakatane.
