Friendly, helpful welcome when checking in.😀Much appreciated! Everything was super clean in my room and the guest kitchen and lounge. Bed was very comfortable! Great shower. Generous continental breakfast included in price! Tea and coffee freely available. I loved the personal touches and attention to detail. Stylish but homely. Lovely outdoor space and good onsite parking.This place is an absolute gem. Perfect peaceful sanctuary to recharge and refresh after travelling from Auckland on route to New Plymouth. Strongly recommend a stopover here on way to New Plymouth especially as ongoing roadwork holdups can lengthen an already long drive from Auckland. I will be back for sure. Good value for money.

Everthing was perfect. Leo and Barbara have a wonderful house where I immediatly felt warmly welcome. It was great sharing our dinner time together and spending time chatting in the evening with your friends too. The bedroom was really very quiet and the bed amazingly comfortable. The visit of the farm and land with Leo in the morning was also an great experience, adn wil be part of my best memories in NZ. Thanks a lot for everything.

First, Mel and Glenn-- they're so nice, so very accommodating, sat with us by a lovely fire pit overlooking their expansive valley view and talked about their family, domestic and farm animals, and hobbies, while we shared our stories and the horror that the US has become in one short month before we began asking about NZ emigration procedures! After nightfall, Glenn pointed out the Southern Cross and Milky Way and we headed inside as we had an early morning. Our room was large, the beds comfortable, and there were many fun snacks to munch on, which we tried not to eat but hey, vacation is for trying new things, right? Sorry if sheets were filled with crumbs, Mel, and thanks for everything!

This BNB was just as it said charming and beautifully presented, Loved been able to have a hot cup of coffee and tea. It was super comfortable and they were very friendly and helpful. Left around 6am but wish I could of stayed longer and had a longer sleep in that comfortable bed.

This place is just amazing. It was spotlessly clean and with a gorgeous view of the countryside. We slept like babies and would have craved for more days. Absolutely recommended.

Everything. The location, the wonderful property and Carolyn, the host - not to mention her wee dog, Lacey. We had two grandsons with us and Carol was brilliant with them, showing them rocks, fossils and getting them friends with the sheep!
