Everything, from start to finish. The staff were amazing, and very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean. We had cooking facilities, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and luxury white towels. It really was a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend Acacia Lake View Motel.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay, the bed was huge and comfortable, the rooms were huge and so clean. The outdoor private mini thermal baths really sealed the deal for us, the photos do not do the property or these baths justice, it is absolutely fabulous and we found it very romantic - but families or lone travellers would also love it. It was a very central location and we were able to conveniently park and charge our car outside our flat for free. The reception lady was so helpful, she helped us find a compatible car charger as ours didnt seem to fit their outdoor sockets, nothing was a problem for her and her upbeat pleasant attitude started our stay off on the right foot. I truely can't believe this place was as cheap as it was, it's an absolute steal! I would 100% go back and my fiance agrees with me completely. It was one of the highlights of our North New Zealand road trip in terms of lodging.

Fantastic private location right on the waterfront but only 5 minutes drive from the wharf and town. Incredible view. Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

The place was much bigger than expected and spacious. Great for us travellers with large luggages. Clean apartment with a good variety and quality of amenities provided. Check in was seamless - Michelle even let us drop our bags when we reached way before the check in time, and let us check in early so we could get to explore the rest of the town. Love the way the door is locked - so fuss free!! Facilities were good, there’s washing machine, induction stove with pots and pans, kitchenware and complimentary Nespresso capsules and coffee and tea. I also love their hot chocolate!!! (bloom) ☕️ Love that there is a backyard area which we can sun/dry off our clothes with the drying rack in the room. There’s also hair dryer, sufficient hangers, iron and ironing board and TV with YouTube connection. Parking space was very sufficient, great porch and quite near the beach (walking distance to the hot water beach and also to shops, restaurants and supermarkets) Overall great experience and would highly recommend this place to couples and families looking to stay in Taupo. Thanks Michelle for being a great host! 😇
