The best place to stay in the desert! what can I say we had the most amazing time here. The staff are so wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms are big with a comfy bed and the bathroom was great too. Everything is very clean. We found it quite easy to get to as once you turn off the motorway there are signs telling you that you’re on the right path. Driving off road on the sand was fun, just make sure to deflate your tires! The camp is surrounded by dunes so there are many places to watch the sunrise and sun set. The quad biking around the dunes was a highlight for us, so much fun. Also the owner took us so we could go camel riding which was so nice. We stayed two nights and had the best time.

We got transport organised from Muscat to the camp for a very good price. Great people working there, sunset ride and camel ride was great, we were taken care of! We can definitely recommend!

Everything. Amazing location, sorrounded by sand dunes. Just 5 tents so its excepcionally tranquil. The owners are amanzingly friendly. On the morning there were camels passing by, to eat the grass. Fantastic dinner with grilled fish. Highly recomended.

Great host and memorable stay. Amer was always available, informative, with a good sense of humor! The access to the camp needs a 4*4 vehicle. He managed to schedule the pick-up and drop off on time. I recommand 100% !

We were looking for a more remote camp and this place is perfect! You only see the 3 tents that belong to the camp and nothing else. On the way to the camp we saw many camps very close to the main road and the experience there must be different. And the best part is Rashid! He was very helpful from the beginning, communicating frequently and always positive. He picked us up from the meeting point and we followed him in our car which was amazing! He also organized additional activities (dune bashing and quad tour) for us which we enjoyed a lot! He even had to deal with many issues that the group staying in other tents had and never hesitated to help. The 2 guys helping with preparation of everything were very friendly and the food they cooked was delicious! Absolutely recommend!

The camp was just right. Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

    - highly recommend booking the desert drive for 30 OMR (per car), this included the transfer to/from the camp from the parking lot. The drive to the camp includes a serious uphill section, a cheap 4x4 rental got stuck several and couldn't make it. The desert drive is lots of fun, the driver will drive to 2 viewpoints (for sunset) with fun dune driving in between.

    Very nice and friendly atmosphere, good dinner, we enjoyed the firecamp. Drinks (Tea, coffee, water), dates and fruits available all the time. The transfer from the parking place to the camp (as we didn't have a 4x4) was a bit expensive - 15 OMR.

    The camp is quite big, easy to access and clean. Our bedroom was a big tent, with lots of space and a private open air bathroom. The owner Nasser was very kind and helpful. We did a jeep tour with him for 1 hour at sunset for the cost of 30 Riyal (including also transportation from the parking spot to the camp and back). The tour was quite short and we stayed close to the camp, but we still had amazing views.
