What a unique experience in this awesome place! If you are looking for an isolated spot to recharge…well, then this is it! The location is stunning and the owner Saïd and his family are so nice, make the greatest local food and do everything they can to make your stay unforgettable! The purest form of travelling!

Super luxurious place right next to the dunes. You can hike up for the sunset view or so the tours offered by the camp. The manager is very attentive and kind. Was very happy with my stay

The staff make my stay 100% better they can pick you up from a pick up location if you don't have 4x4 the economy room was brilliant good size and the night time fire was great talking to the locals about Oman the buffet dinner and breakfast all you can eat and you have hot water if you like to shower we hot water.

Very nice resort, you can oversee the dunes, beautiful sunset. The staff and manager is very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast are included and nice.

We had a great time in this camp. It's located a bit further then other camps, which ensures privacy and peace. The camp has a cozy common area where you can socialize with other guests and drink tea/coffee and eat dates. The beds in our tent were the most comfortable we slept in all Oman. Our host Saíd speaks fluent English and is ready to answer all your questions about the desert, beduin life, camels and so on. He also took us dune bashing (riding in 4x4 car across the dunes - great fun) and to see the sunset in the most beautiful place. They really went out of their way to make our stay in the camp special. They made delicious traditional dinner for us and then we sat around the fire and drummed and danced traditional dances. I can totally recommend.

I have been here last year this is my second time in this camp. I really liked the new location they added more tents and place is amazing. They improved the toilets they are more luxurious now!! The staff are lovely the buffet has lots of variety and all tasty. I highly recommend it for your vacation.

The staff is really friendly and everything is very quite and calm. We stayed two nights and I really enjoyed sleeping in the nice tent and looking and the star at night. The food was very good and they made different stuff for us who stayed more nights and helped us with vegetarian options. For those who said there are mice.. It is nature! We are in their home and you should appreciate them. There are desert mice, a very clean and intelligent animal. I appreciate the staff protects them. So please continue to respect wildlife! It seems to me that the camels are also well treated. We went to visit a beduin house, it was a beautiful experience and they welcomed us in their home with delicious sweet food.

The villa was stunning — exactly as shown in the photos. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-designed, with a peaceful ambiance that made our stay truly relaxing. The private pool was a highlight, and the overall architecture and attention to detail gave the place a luxurious feel. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the host. The owner was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His hospitality made a lasting impression and added a personal, welcoming touch to the entire visit.

I came across La Duna when searching for a nice place for my Fiancé and me to stay. Out of all the camps I found, La Duna looked the most attractive, but I was initially a bit hesitant as I could not find any reviews about it. Some further research showed me that it was a brand-new camp, which explained the lack of reviews. I contacted them via their IG page and got a super friendly and supportive feedback from Mr. Nasser, the manager or owner of La Duna. Not only did he answer all my questions I had about La Duna, but he also helped me with ideas and suggestions for the other part of our 10 days Oman trip, which was an extremely valuable insight from a local and much more than I could have hoped for. So I decided to book 2 nights at La Duna and when we finally arrived there, our expectations were by far exceeded. It’s an absolutely stunning camp and extremely private, there is just one camp (tent) available for exclusive use in an incredible desert setting. Unlike nearly all the other camps, La Duna has a more modern approach and design, which we preferred over the somewhat awkward traditional camps with their black tents and weird carpets. La Duna is bright and clean and spacious, from inside more like a luxury hotel room than a tent, with a proper cooling AC, hot water and a strong water pressure in the shower. We were prepared for much worse, but at La Duna really everything worked as it should. Mr. Nasser and his team took extremely well care of us and delivered delicious meals to our camp. It cannot get more exclusive and if you are looking for a luxurious desert experience out of the ordinary, then La Duna is the place to go.
