This is the most amazing location to stay - a wonderful 30 minute drive from the main road to find incredible views across to the mountains and plenty of places to sit and enjoy it, a beautiful and tranquil spot. The family who run the place could not have been more friendly - and welcoming us with tea on arrival, we also had a lovely evening dinner (at a very reasonable extra cost), it was one of our favourite places so far in Peru! We were also able to park our car inside their yard which was really helpful.

The host was very accommodating and helped organize transport to and from the trailhead to choquequirao. The price was really good for what we got and they made us a large dinner as well for 15 soles. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to do the choquequirao trek.

The hotel was very well kept, had a pool and a very comfortable bed. I felt at home. The front desk people were very helpful especially Wilder who helped get aquí antes with the city and take care of a bunch of different things.

There’s not much to not like! It’s a few steps outside of town which means is quiet and peaceful. Pablo, our host, was delightful and very welcoming and accommodating. His spaghetti bolognaise was delicious, and his hospitality was amazing - we felt so welcomed and at home. The room was amazing - the bed was comfortable, the view was quite extraordinary and the front seating area was very relaxing. The water was hot and consistent and the wifi was very fast and stable.
