The host went above and beyond to insure that we were extremely happy with the choice of room. We went to celebrate a birthday and she went the extra mile to make it special for him. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the room, the house and property. Helena is an artist with exquisite taste and you can see that reflected in everything she does. She is kind, warm and generous. The breakfast feast is amazing. So many choices even for us vegetarians. The shower was lovely, incredibly hot. The bed was so comfortable and extra large, the biggest bed I've ever seen. Our dogs were kindly welcomed and they enjoyed their vacation. The views on the property will take your breath away. We will definitely be back soon!

Teresa, the host, was exceptional ! She was very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. Loved her! The breakfast was very, very good. The pool was open and clean. The Quinta was beautiful and very inviting. Teresa also offered us a welcome drink. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Perfect newly restored hotel. Impossible to fault room, hotel or staff. Excellent breakfast. Also, the normal parking problems of Castello de Vide as there is a car park behind the hotel which always had spaces.

Great location to several main tourist sites close by. Plenty of options of restaurants around the hotel area too. Hotel staff are very helpful. Really good size room. Lots of options for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised for my first visit to this region of Portugal.

This place is a real gem, I totally love it! I found it accidentaly on booking, and once we arrive it turns out to be much better than on pictures. Quinta is perfect for few days of relaxing and immersing in portuguese nature, I love hammocks and sunbeds located in different places - depending on the mood - to spend time with friends or on your own:). Apart from that, I really appreciate care for comfort - comfortable beds, air conditioning, heaters, iron and cleanliness of whole apartment. Well equiped kitchen is additional star for me - oven, all kitchen utensils, sharp knives, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher. Last but not least- we arrived late in the evening - and were surprised by host with some snacks for supper / breakfast... eggs, bread, cheese and delicious cake:) We were supported during our stay with a lot of hints and recommendations - big appreciation for this!

There is aircon (even in the bathroom) so the apartment is warm. The kitchen is well-equipped and the house is beautifully designed with decorations that add to the atmosphere. We were given an upper floor room with a balcony and a view of the mountains (accessible by lift or stairs). A good buffet breakfast was served in the first floor dining room which has a tree growing through it as part of the décor. There was free parking outside the hotel, which is a few minutes walk to the town centre. It made a good base for walking in the area.

Great value for money! I love the location, the quaint decor with hand painted wooden furniture, the breakfast, the pool with palm trees, the free parking, the price. This is a place I would highly recommend for people looking for comfort and a great deal. We will surely come back!
