1401 is the place to stay if you want a central location to a small score of locally owned restaurants/grocery stores, a beautiful beach (Mullet Bay) all within a 5 min walk, gated parking, a well-appointed apartment with every amenity one could possibly want with an amazing view and the most attentive, knowledgeable host. Excellent location, especially if you love to watch planes landing and taking off, it’s quite extraordinary but my wife loved it, Reception were great, especially Donette, who helped us as our luggage had been left in Paris by Air France. We had a double room, very spacious, nice balcony with views across the bay, good cooking facilities and great air conditioning ( which was needed)also very clean Great pool with access to a private beech and the Tortue restaurant which serves great food with stunning views We were a little disappointed with the local choice of foods, which were quite expensive, 5 usd for a portion of chips And was very Americanised which was a shame. A nice place for a weeks relaxing stay
